GDPR
It’s an acronym that has been increasingly haunting social media and email lists across the land and today I finally got to the truth of it for me and I’m sure many businesses like me. I repeatedly said to a friend months ago that it would be crazy and business suicide to just dump your whole list after years of growing and cultivating it and they insisted that was what needed to be done come Friday 25th May. I disagreed however didn’t have concrete evidence to support my claim because there were so many conflicting views from GDPR ‘experts’ floating around.
Having heard the truth about GDPR for my business, all I can say is what a blessed relief! After several hours research to confirm my suspicions and then finally getting the information from the horse’s mouth, I first of all want to apologise for the #GDPR fiasco and annoyance which I added to on Sunday night by sending you a resubmission form. GDPR and Why You Don’t Need to Immediately Dump or Delete Your Mailing List
It is unnecessary if you have taken a few simple measures in the past. One of my processes was put in place over a decade ago and it is still valid for GDPR, so my first suggestion is to breathe and take a moment and do the review which I will explain on the live Teleseminar. At one one point the GDPR Advisor said to me when I told him what I’d been reading:
“No disrespect to you ma’am but that’s absolute rubbish!”
I was both shocked and delighted!!!!!
