I start this one with a disclaimer and and some confusion and I ask for your help . . . . .

First of all, this is the video link that I referred to in this video: https://www.facebook.com/shaunking/videos/1089079334464317/ My intention is that by the time Patrick appears in court the judge has seen this video and recognises that he did nothing to warrant losing his job and losing his place at college.

For those that prefer to read rather than watch or listen, below is a summary of the story behind this post and my original written version:

If you are in any doubt that even when you clearly identify yourself AND both your EMPTY hands are on your lap in plain clear as day view violence will be rained down upon you, watch this video.

And not only did they not apologise when they realised they had very clearly made a mistake, they then blatantly lied about the number of times they requested his ID and then tried to get others to join them in the: “All blacks look alike chorus” when a few bystanders respectfully pointed out the ID distortion of the truth.
Really? Really? Did I just watch these lying mofos do this all on camera and then quote the camera as their back up?! Did I??!!!

I do believe that if this had all gone down in a side street with no audience, Young Patrick would most likely be another dead resisting arrest statistic.

I would hate to see this young man lose his job and college place for the crime of sitting in his own car because I suspect it’s that kind of thing would cause someone to lose hope and reoffend to financially survive.

From what I recall the guy with a suspected gun last year who the police took for a burger was in a far greater position to put up a tad more resistance. Patrick didn’t get so much as a simple two word apology, much less a Happy Meal.

And no, this is not about stirring up racial divide, this is about highlighting what an unequal world many are still living in, in a country where a large majority seem to believe that all is fair, and fine, and dandy.

I wouldn’t bother sharing this if I wasn’t seeing so much clap trap being bandied about that these black men who have died in similar circumstances were all to blame and at fault for their demise. This is about rooting out and showing the faces of this bad and rotten bunch of ‘law enforcement officers’ who are overstepping those lines and boundaries and giving the good guys a bad name. would share this video regardless of what colour those so called officers were.

Is this my problem? Thankfully No. Is this your problem? No Does the world have a problem? Yes. Are we of this world?

It is time to #WakeUp and clean out this dirty system even if you have to do it one bad dirty rotten apple at a time.

Thank you Jillian Coleman Wheeler for the post.

  1. Ola Agbaimoni I have just posted the link to the original video so it explains it all there . . . . . And yes, the converted still have voices who may be able to make a difference in the lives of those who have not yet found their voice . . . .
