Ohhh nice
Pioneers are fearless.
Wonderful presentation as always. ❤️
Well done Marilyn, for all those you’ve impacted, encouraged and inspired with positivity
My pleasure.
I’m reposting great brain feed.
Thank you so much Patricia Green. Very much appreciated. M <3 <3 <3
Marilyn Devonish always my pleasure, love. ❤️
Yay!
Thank you for sharing. Was passing through, can relate to my parents experience to England as well as delivering to an empty room. x Lovely to hear you my friend. x
Thank you Brian M Foley. And wow, it is weirdly good to know that it has happened to other people too! Wishing you a fabulous and very abundant and rewarding week. M <3
Patricia Green Yes You Are. When I look back at some of your pioneering photographs and the things and causes you have been involved in I am in awe. Wow. Just wow.
Thank you, Sis. I always wanted to be a change agent in my own quiet way … no noise, just action … no ego, just intent … no fear, just a commitment to make a difference. Someone showed me the way; her name was Maida Springer-Kemp, and she was my shero. As time permits, please google her. ❤️
Wow. Thank you. I will look her up. And funny, Springer is a name which is quite common in Barbados.
Marilyn Devonish she was born in Panama. As a child, she immigrated with her mother to the US. They lived in NYC, and her mother was a member of the Garvey Movement. Nuff said!
I just read her obituary. What a woman. She also has a wikipedia page however I thought I’d read the official stuff first. Wow. Gosh, I can’t even begin to imagine what that past must have been like to walk and live.
She was amazing, dear, and I am blessed to have had her in my life. I loved and still love her. ❤️
It was real..
Oh my goodness. I can barely begin to imagine what it was like to live in that world and face that on a daily basis. It makes me wonder how people survived and kept going without all of the fancy self development and support that we have now.
I could listen to you all day – always a pleasure 💚
