  1. I can 100% relate to what you’re saying Marilyn! I feel exactly the same with Aerial Hoop! Last night I was thinking of how much left & right brain integration takes place. It’s more mentally fatiguing than physically for me! The neurology doesn’t always kick in as fast as I’d like or I think it should! lol What I’m finding even more challenging is overcoming my fear/uncertainty in doing some of the dynamic moves like the dismounts & drops! This is literally my face when the instructor does the demonstration 😬😳😱😰

  2. Alvina Cloete Absolutely!! I think my line of the night tonight was:

Me: “What are we doing with our arms again?”

Instructor: “Which bit (of the routine)?

Me: “Well, like all of it.” 😀

And I so totally know that face from Pole. I remember one lesson everyone simultaneously screamed out loud when the Pole Instructor demonstrated the ‘pole drop’ where you totally let go and dive head first towards the ground because we thought she’d lost her grip! Of course riotous laughter then ensued when just at the last minute she did the ‘pole grip’ and ground to a halt with mms to spare. My face was like: “What you talkin’ bout Willis???!!!!! I’m not doing that . . . . . Where’s my mat?”
