I saw a few posts on Facebook yesterday which made me think about conversations that people have taken it upon themselves to have with me in the past, and I found myself thinking about whether I should be having a laugh on Facebook and posting music and regularly talking about dancing.
I then had to stop and take stock. I am very serious about my work when it comes to delivering for my Corporate clients, Coaching Groups, and getting results for my private one-to-one Coaching and Breakthrough clients. Thirteen years of glowing reports and client feedback are testimony to that.
And, I have fun while I’m doing it. Music is often playing in the background while I’m working. I regularly dance during the day. I laugh whenever I can, even if that’s just with (or sometimes at) myself. All of that is then infused with a crazy mad scientist kind of thinking process which often defies logic but works for me and which greatly enhances rather than diminishes my work and what I am able to achieve and the outcomes I deliver.
So, I am now just off to give myself a shake and good talking to in order to remind myself that being me is the only way to fly and that attempting to put on some kind of dowdy persona is a waste of time. As the saying goes, what other people (might) think of me is none of my business.
I have a sense that life is too short to be played wearing a metaphorical straight jacket and trying to deny who you are. As long as you have the best and highest good of those concerned at heart and in mind, go forth and fly and be who you are truly meant to be in the world. Leave your mark, make your move, let the world know that you were here for all of the right reasons.
Well, I’m now off for a Dance Break before I do a bit of morning PhotoReading.
Wishing you all love, joy, peace of mind, fulfilment, success, courage, and the kind of life that warms your heart and fills you with smiles of gratitude.
