Mandy Collins I’ve got a looooooooong afternoon ahead! π
Yup…..happy twisting !! xx
LOOOOOOL and yep! Just taking in an episode of Star Trek and I’ve got a few training videos lined up! πͺπ½
In the past 2 hours I have twisted nothing, nada, zero. Time to stop “just answering one more message.” ππ πβ³
How funny. I have literally just goy out or the shower after washing my hair, so I have a towel around my head! ππ
Daniela Centola No! π I’m not going to race you in terms of whose hair will be dry the quickest and done the fastest!
If I were to leave my hair to dry naturally I would be lucky if it was dry by the time I go to bed! π but I am going out so it will be helped by the hair dryer. I can totally relate to you as in its a no rush job and I have to prepare mentally to wash it! ππ no wash and go for me!
Oh my gosh Daniela Centola I have been mentally working up to this ALL WEEK!!!!! π LOOOOOL. I was going to do it yesterday than I realised I’d have to oil and twist non-stop to have a hope of finishing before ballet class. And I was going to do it on Monday but my neighbour wanted to do some gardening and then after the weather was so good that I had to go sit out in the sun . . . . .
me too!!! its only because I am holding a class tonight that I have done it today! and even then I thought about doing it tomorrow. Its odd because when I have done it is such a relief. xx
I remember once lounging in bed thinking I had the whole weekend ahead of me then woke up bolt upright with: “Oh god. You’re filming an interview next week! Get that hair washed and re-twisted NOW!!!!!”
Marilyn Devonish reminds me of the days when my son was little and I would plait his long hair. It would take me 4 to 5 hours.
He would invariably fall asleep with his head in my lap and I’d have to turn him around in stages to get to the right parts of his head, LOL.
Monique Rom That is so sweet. <3 π
I would hate it if people touched my hair bc Iβm funny about that! X
Like when the makeup counter assistant wants to touch my face to match a foundation to my skin, I donβt like it π¬πx

Looks lovely
I don’t let people touch my hair though
Asking questions is fine but dont touch my hair
Why do you need to know, if you don’t have locs? Very generous of you to go through this. Next time anyone ask me, which is rare these days, i will send them to you. Lol!
Shola Caroline Arewa I think people are just curios. I remember when tongue rings came out, just couldn’t get my head around eating with that thing in the middle of your mouth so in the end I had to give in and ask a friend. ππ π
you’re right.
My tongue used to be pierced, too!! I had to take it out bc the weight of it was straining my larynx and I lost my voice right before a really big gig t a restaurant in London!! X
Evangelina Tsa Oh WOW! :-O
You are so refreshing, thank you
Teach, Sis!
Thank you Muna Masooma Afsha π
Patricia Evelyn Green-Rodgers People ask about it a lot because they’ve often wondered but never felt comfortable doing so in the past. I’ve also read a lot of nonsense saying people with locs can’t or don’t wash their hair, and you know me, I like a bit of myth busting! π
Glad you are busting those myths, Sis! π
Dem hand clean ?
Hi Marilyn been many years since I saw you last. How are you ?
Do check out these hair products , All natural , I just started using them to stop the start of thinning hair . https://tinyurl.com/ycx3y7nl
Great video ππ
Thank you for sharing this post. It will be so enlightening for the many. This is a topic that can be so sensitive for certain people and does not have to be at all π
Thank you Tony Vedanta Wilmot. I get why people are curious and why it wouldn’t be obvious if you haven’t come into contact with my type of hair. Even oiling ones hair is a strange concept for many who spend all of their time trying to wash the oil out.
