Are You The Next Rosa Parks? How To Harness The Power Of The Ripple Effect

Posted by:

I’ve just creating a slide for the Workshop I am running on Saturday.  It was a slide about what I call ‘The Ripple Effect.’

The effect where you are catalyst, and as a result of your actions and decisions, other events and actions and reactions continue to ripple out into the future.

This water drop ripple effect has been my logo since 2001, and has proven itself to hold true over the years as I reflect and look back on the lives of ...

The One Question That Can Change & Transform Your Outlook & Approach To Life

Posted by:

I recently shared an idea with someone.  Their first reaction upon hearing it was:

“Oh yeah but what if . . . .?”

Their reaction was cautionary.  A polite way of saying: “Hmmmmm, what if it doesn’t work?”

As I listened to them, I realised that a variation on their reaction is also one of my favourite ‪#‎LifeQuestions‬ and ‪#‎CoachingQuestions‬ however I use it in a completely different way.

My version of that question is:

“Oooooh, I wonder ...

Is It Love or a Lockdown Based on Fear & Insecurity?

Posted by:

“Are you a man who loves and cherishes and cares for me?   Or are you a guard in a prison of maximum security?”

“Do we stay home all the time cos you want me to yourself, or am I locked away out of fear that I’ll find someone else?”

For some reason I’m really feeling the song Spotlight by Jennifer Hudson at the moment.  Not because I am in Jennifer’s situation, but because the words of the song ring so true with ...

Are you Afraid of Blogging or Expressing Yourself?

Posted by:

I have realised that many people are afraid of writing, and I’m not talking about writing a book (although that can be a big one too), I am referring to writing Blogs, or even Facebook posts and social media updates.

For those of you that are like me, and writing ten to the dozen, Blogging, writing magazine articles, and posting a ton of stuff across various mediums every single day, that might sound a little strange, particularly as we now live ...

Can 2 5-minute bursts really help change your life?

Posted by:

We did 2 x 5-minute sessions and life will never be quite the same again . . . . . .

I had another one of those totally mind blowing and amazing: ‘Can it really be this easy’ breakthroughs and moments on my PhotoReading Workshop this weekend.  During the Bonus Belief Change Session on both the Friday and Saturday night I did a few minutes with a delegate who has always been unsure and lacking confidence in how they ...

Life Can be Over in an Instant – Are you trapped in the prison of your own mind?

Posted by:

My god, life can change or be over in an instant.

I just saw the post of a facebook friend.  Twenty hours ago she and her husband were planning to go to a boat show.  This morning she is announcing his passing from a massive heart attack.  They met when she was 11 years old.  Married the day after her 17th birthday, and had been together for 36 years.

Such news leaves me speechless at the immediacy of it all.

There is of ...

Is their Affair or your Emotional Baggage Poisoning your Current Relationship?

Posted by:

DOES YOUR RELATIONSHIP BAGGAGE HOLD YOU BACK, WEIGH YOU DOWN, OR GET DUMPED ON YOUR NEW PARTNER?

The subject of emotional baggage is one that I came to know very well back in the late 90’s after my then partner had an affair.  For some reason I have noticed this subject appearing on my radar again, and not just because of the Katie Price twitter outburst upon discovering that her husband had been having an affair with her best friend.

Katie’s statement ...

The Pain & Fear of Missed Opportunities

Posted by:

Are you living a life of missed opportunities and unfulfilled dreams?

So many people pass up, or pass over opportunities because they haven’t got all of their ducks in a row or because their house isn’t fully in order.

Some of my best times have been where my mouth and heart said ‘Yes‘ before my brain had a chance to chime in and rationalise it away or talk me out of it.

I say my heart because you do truly know if you ...

The Curse & Blessing of Age & Ageing

Posted by:

The subject of ageing has come up a few times in the last couple of weeks.  The ‘oh my how time is flying‘ through to the things that have and haven’t been done yet in life.

“If you live long enough, the years will pass for us all”

I was starkly reminded of this fact at a family gathering over the Christmas weekend as I watched someone who was fit and healthy when I last saw them literally crawl up some stairs, ...

Are You Living In The Shadow Of Your True Self

Posted by:

I saw a few posts on Facebook yesterday which made me think about conversations that people have taken it upon themselves to have with me in the past, and I found myself thinking about whether I should be having a laugh on Facebook and posting music and regularly talking about dancing.

I then had to stop and take stock. I am very serious about my work when it comes to delivering for my Corporate clients, Coaching Groups, and getting results for ...
