Bereavement Tarot Readings – Can they help you heal the pain

Posted by:

For those that know me, you will also know that my Angel Tarot cards get a lot of action.  Usually, whenever I purchase a new deck they have barely landed on the doormat before I’ve ripped open the packaging, pierced the cellophane, and started shuffling through them.  Not so for the Talking to Heaven deck . . . . .

I excitedly opened the envelope when they arrived and then I stopped.  Something didn’t resonate so I put them ...

Life Can be Over in an Instant – Are you trapped in the prison of your own mind?

Posted by:

My god, life can change or be over in an instant.

I just saw the post of a facebook friend.  Twenty hours ago she and her husband were planning to go to a boat show.  This morning she is announcing his passing from a massive heart attack.  They met when she was 11 years old.  Married the day after her 17th birthday, and had been together for 36 years.

Such news leaves me speechless at the immediacy of it all.

There is of ...

RIP 2013 – Are You Living or Just Waiting to Die?

Posted by:

LET US ALL LIVE WHILE WE ARE ALIVE & HAVE THE TIME OF OUR LIVES!

I just had one of those moments (well actually you will need to sit down and hold the scroll key because as it turns out it was quite a long moment). I watched Dirty Dancing (again) last night and Patrick Swayze is of course no longer with us.

Today I watched the Jackson 5 Story which partly centres around Michael Jackson, another talent seemingly ...

The Curse & Blessing of Age & Ageing

The Art of Death & Dying & Strictly Come Dancing

Ah, me with Strictly Come Dancing Judge Bruno Tonioli . . . . .

I remember this day back in December 2010.  Well of course I remember it; I’m stood there, in the corridors of BBC Broadcasting House with Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing With The Stars Judge Bruno Tonioli, having just watched the live final where Kara Tointon and Artem Chigvintsev lifted the glitter ball trophy as worthy winners.  As Brucie says, they really ...

What has death taught me about life? RIP Nelson Mandela

Posted by:

“The one thing I have realised about death is that life goes on.”

What do I mean by that?  A couple of high profile people have passed away this week, the most recent being President of South Africa Mr Nelson Mandela.

Another was the star of one of my favourite movie franchises, Paul Walker of The Fast & Furious fame.  (For my previous post about Paul Walker go to: Continue Reading →

Felix Dexter RIP – Did He Know?

Posted by:

I saw last night that Felix Dexter passed away yesterday.  My condolences to his friends and family.

I grew up laughing at his characters, the London Underground Ticket Collector was a particular favourite. I saw him perform a couple of times and we were Facebook friends however we’d never actually sat down and chewed the fat.

There are lots of tribute posts being written today, and rightly so for a man who was a modern day black comedy legend and pioneer for ...
