October 2018 marks 18 years since I wandered into my first personal development Practitioner training and when I first discovered and lived the power of the Breakthrough Session. If you watched my Timeslip video interview in the previous email you would have heard me talk about part of that journey. These are two examples of my ‘public’ Breakthrough Sessions. A breakthrough piece for me was the article in the Metro Newspaper which continued to bring in clients, the majority men, which surprised me, for over 7 years. The other started my writing career.

The Breakthrough Session changed my life beyond recognition and is the reason I’m doing what I do today.

BREAKING UP THE EASY WAY

The newspaper article opened with the paragraph:

“When I first read Marilyn Devonish’s guff on NLP, it sounded like New Age hocus-pocus. A bit hypnosis, a bit therapy, it’s described as a process by which a subconscious mind is rewired to draw it towards things and people that are good for it . . .”

Not quite the opening I was going for given our run in and gentle confrontation during the original interview! It closed with the paragraph:

ARE ANTIDEPRESSANTS THE ANSWER?

Another, and this is where it all started for me was with the Freelance Writing, was a Session I did with a lovely Journalist from Here’s Health Magazine. They entitled the piece: The Great Debate – Are Antidepressants the Answer?

Lisa said of her Session:

The Ripple Effect

My intention when I started out in October 2000 having given up my Chartered Accountancy studies to become a Coach and Hypnotherapist instead was that the changes and TranceFormation from the 1-Day Breakthrough would continue to ripple throughout your life.
